Sagittarius New Moon

Hello Fellow Walkers on the Path of the Unknown
NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS – THURSDAY 27 TH NOVEMBER @ 16.55
This is the moon of thanksgiving and comes at the perfect time. It’s easy to get caught up in the drama of life and feel the victim of circumstance - powerless against an unknown force.
Focusing on gratitude for the wonderful things we have helps shift the focus away from feeling a victim of life. Instead, recognise the things you may be taking for granted to shift any negative, hopeless feelings. The sun is always shining even when we cannot see it and sometimes we have to change our perspective to recognise all the wonderful things in our lives. Sagittarius reminds us to count our blessings and dance in the rain. We create our own reality, and when we take personal responsibility for our lives, our ability to live fully and joyfully increases.
This moon’s message to ‘be the change’ through our actions towards ourselves, others and Mother Earth asks us: ‘How can I best show my appreciation for everything I have in my life, even the challenges I fear, and really enjoy what is happening right now?’
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of abundance and inner growth. We are encouraged to expand our minds and increase our knowledge so this is a good time to do something new. Interests, hobbies and talents that may have been suppressed or forgotten may re-emerge now, so be alert to things that catch your interest. Doors may open at this time to learn something new, join a symposium or take a class in something that fascinates you. Be courageous and follow your passion. Jupiter also rules the liver, the organ that filters out the toxicity and rids the body of excess. Use the energy to filter out the toxicity in your life that is no longer serving you on the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical levels.
This is also an auspicious time for travelling abroad and making foreign connections and meeting people. The urge to be more spontaneous and free can also lead to a tendency to overdo things and become overindulgent. Beware of excess and blind optimism. Focus your energy on what needs to be done, and patiently go step by step towards your goals.
The most important thing is to enjoy the journey in every moment; regardless of whether things are happening the way you wanted them to or not. Sagittarius is symbolised by the archer, who shoots his arrow into the wind, trusting it will find its destination. When we let go and leap into the unknown, we are able to experience the Universal magic.
When we live life as an adventure we free our minds from the fear that creates barriers and restricts us. Put out the intention for a positive spiritual adventure - then trust that you will make the right choices to fulfil it. Honour the all-knowing wisdom of your inner god/goddess who sees all from the perspective of the eagle and trust the path you have taken. If you don’t like where you are, use the ritual to intention a new reality.
Everything is in forward motion, so utilise the energy of the moon and the planets to blast off from the ordinary, mundane, routine-led life, expanding your horizons and exploring hidden dimensions within you. Think big, take chances and use this positive, enthusiastic and generous energy to take you closer to your dreams.
I will end this Lunascope with the wise words of Kalil Gibran:
“Wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving..”
