Full Moon in Virgo

Dear Fellow Walkers on the Path of the Unknown
Early this morning the moon turned full in Virgo. An auspicious moon as it comes near to Spring Equinox, and represents the fertile harvest and the vitality of awakening.
We are part of this natural planet and what happens in nature is also happening to us directly too. The problem is most of us are so out ot sync with the natural cycles we have lost touch with our own natural rhythms and flow. Most of us have forgotten how to be in the natural flow when we are consciously able to respond to everything that is happening, rather than from a value system, social programming, religious programming, or inner critic.
This full moon reminds us that When we are compromising our inner truth, afraid of upsetting others, or fear change and new beginnings we become depressed and despondent. Take this opportunity Virgo offers us and become ripe for action.
Virgo full moon is a time to honour our experience on the planet, whatever it is. It is the moon before Spring Equinox when we reach the apex of Spring and become fully emerged in the energy of this season.
Virgo is represented by the Goddess Ceres, and represents the love a mother has for her child. She reminds us that we can only heal when we are serving others and the planet. She has given us the gift of nature, and taught us how to grow, preserve and prepare the grain and corn for the harvest. Most importantly she is responsible for the fertility of the land, so this full moon is auspicious, as the earth awakens from its winter slumber.
As nature awakens, so do we, and this Virgo full moon gives us the energy we need to propel our projects, careers and creative endeavours forward. Detail-orientated Virgo helps us analyze what needs to change and how, especially in our daily lives. If you’ve been feeling sluggish and heavy, take up a sport, activity, or change your diet. Your intuition, which has been much stronger over the last two weeks, will tell you what you need to do. Trust and use the Virgo energy to make the first steps through the lethargy to follow your heart.
Virgo helps us to re-affirm our purpose and gives reason for our existence. If you are feeling frustrated or anchorless, battered by what is happening externally, use this time to clear your house both mentally and physically.
Sometimes it is hard to let go of memories, represented by the stuff that we hide in boxes and bags. This clutter can hold us locked in the past and stops us from moving forward and allowing new things to enter our lives. This moon will give us the energy to take the first steps in clearing space and preparing for Spring.
