Terms & Conditions for Cacao Ceremonies

This agreement is entered into between Rebekah Shaman, operating at various locations in UK and worldwide, and yourself ("I") for this and future visits.

DISCLOSURE ABOUT CACAO: Sacred ceremonial cacao is prepared in such a way that, the properties of it alone increases blood flow to the brain by 30-40%, and the actual oxygen in the blood is also increased by 20%. Along with this and the meditations and healing offered in this ceremony, you can greatly expand the energy of the heart center for deeper awareness, healing, joy and creativity. We ask that if you have high blood pressure, heart issues, allergic to chocolate, are pregnant, or are prone to severe anxiety or are on antidepressant or any other medication, that you do not consume the full amount of cacao served in these ceremonies. We require you to let us know in advance of a ceremony.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I agree that I am voluntarily participating in a Cacao Ceremony at my own risk and assume all risk of injury, illness, damage, or loss to me or my property that might result, including, without limitation, any loss or theft of any personal property, whether arising out of the negligence of Rebekah Shaman or otherwise.

RELEASE: I agree that on behalf of myself (and all my personal representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, agents, and assigns) to release and discharge Rebekah Shaman (and its affiliates, related entities, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns) from any and all claims or causes of action (know or unknown) arising out of negligence from any of its staff, whether active or passive. This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, injuries which may occur as a result of a) any equipment or facilities which may malfunction or break, b) improper maintenance of any equipment, premises or facilities, c) negligent instruction or supervision, d) slipping or tripping and falling while on any portion of a premises or while traveling to or from any of the activities, including injuries resulting from staff or anyone else's negligent inspection or maintenance of the facility or premises.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: This release is not intended as an attempted release of claims of gross negligence or intentional acts. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver and release and fully understand that it is a release of liability, express assumption of risk and indemnity agreement. I am aware and agree that by executing this waiver and release, I am giving up my right to bring a legal action or assert a claim against Rebekah Shaman’s negligence. I have read and voluntarily signed the waiver and release and further agree that no oral representations, statements, or inducement apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Having purchased a ticket for a cacao ceremony through ashaninkacacao.co.uk, tickets are not refundable, but are transferable to another person for the same ceremony if you cannot make it.
