Things seem to be getting a bit clearer, as we head towards the final few moons of 2014. We are reaching crisis point on our planet and things can no longer stay the same. A shift in consciousness is occurring whether we are aware of it or not and the moon, planets and nature are here to assist us at this transition time.
This year has been about letting go of anything that is no longer aligned with our value systems and now we are reaching the earthy Taurus full moon that is here to help us find our feet after a turbulent and emotional few months.
The sun is still in Scorpio until 21st November, illuminating the hidden (see my Scorpio new moon Lunascope) but the Taurus full moon, symbolised by the bull, increases our tenacity, determination, and stubbornness, with a healthy dose of realism, helping us to face what has been unearthed.
It gives us the tenacity to keep on going, by enabling us to see things from a practical and harmonious perspective, and not getting too emotionally evolved or sucked into somebody else’s drama. It is the perfect moon to take off any rose tinted glasses and take a good look at your situation.
We know what we need to do but sometimes we can resist the change that needs to happen. If you know something isn’t right, use this Taurus moon to give you the strength and courage to make those changes, rather than remain stuck and unhappy. It always takes effort to let go of, or change a relationship, job, partnership, project that is no longer serving you but when we do, we create space to enable something new to enter our lives.
This Taurus full moon also helps look at the balance between meeting our financial and material needs with serving humanity. We all seek financial and emotional security, yet we can often forget about our own needs if we are excessively serving others, or we can become selfish and narcissistic if we care only for our own welfare.
When we are in balance our needs are always perfectly met. Use this earthy moon cycle to do some selfless service or see what needs of yours are not being met and focus on the bullish energy of Taurus to start making those changes.
I will end this Lunascope with the wise words of Amelia Earhart:
“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.”
