Sacred Cacao Ceremony: Seeding The New Year
Saturday 27th January 2018
2 Halls @ Living Space, Waterloo
12.30 – 5.00pm
A new cycle has began and this first cacao ceremony of the year can help you find the clarity and guidance you need to set your destination for 2018.
In order for your new year to get rooted with the best possible intentions, it is good to get clarity and guidance on where you are going and what goals you want to set. During the ceremony we will be focusing on these questions; What do you want to manifest for this new year? What do you need to do to serve yourself? What changes can you make now that will help you reach your goals?
A Cacao Ceremony gives us time for ourselves in a hectic and stressful world. It is the perfect space to switch off the outside chaos and journey into the silence, so that we can become clearer of who we are, where we are going, and the opportunities available to us.
Cacao (raw chocolate) is a powerful plant medicine that has been used ceremonially for thousands of years across Central and South America. The people of ancient Mesoamerica attributed a sacred status to Cacao and would drink ceremonially to commune with their gods.
Where? New Venue: Who This?
After four and a half very happy years, 2017 sadly saw us saying goodbye to Xenia, our previous venue for Cacao Ceremonies. But welcoming in the NEW in 2018, has brought us 2Halls @Living Space. Also in Waterloo, and just minutes from the station.
2 Halls @Living Space: 1 Coral Street, Entrance on Waterloo Road, Waterloo, SE1 7BE
When? 12.30 – 5pm
We have a prompt 12.30pm start time. This is a ceremony and a sacred space – people arriving late can be very disruptive to the flow. Please be mindful of this and arrive on time 🙂
How much? Early Bird Tickets: £50 (If booked by the 21st January)
Full Price: £60 (If booked on or after 22nd January)
I have tried to keep the Cacao Ceremonies as affordable as possible but unfortunately, we have had to increase our ticket prices this year due to new circumstances. We have invested in a new venue, we are in the process of setting up a foundation to give back to our indigenous communities with the cacao profits, while continuing to work with the Ashaninka to bring you the purest and best quality Cacao in the UK, ensuring a fair trade deal for all. We are also improving all our processes and everything we do, in order to make your experience with Cacao smooth, soft and gentle.
We hope to see you all at many more ceremonies, to experience the magic and wisdom of the Plant Medicine teachers.
Additional Bits & Pieces:
The floor at our new venue is a hard, laminated floor, please bring something with you to lie on; yoga mat, blanket etc. The room itself is nice and warm, so please bring a bit of padding for your comfort during ceremony.
With Love & Gratitude,
Rebekah Shaman & The Cacao Team
