Dear Fellow Seekers

I am writing to see if any one has any thoughts on three experiences I have had this week that I would like to share with you.

On Sunday after a gruelling weekend we sat down to watch the ‘Last King of Scotland’ on Channel 4. It is a gripping, intense and disturbing film about a young Doctor’s relationship with Idi Amin, the 1970’s Ugandan despot. After building up an initial very close bond the friendship begins to unravel creating a series of unstoppable negative consequences…

On Monday I was cycling home from a dance class when I stopped for a caribbean take-away. A young man outside the restaurant told me his dad owned it and he would get me the food. We went to sit outside in a pub garden while we waited and chatted for about 20 mins. He took my bike to get a cigarette and returned and asked to borrow my phone. I lent it to him and he gave it back and we continued to chat until he asked if he could borrow 10p. As I got out my purse he snatched it, and the phone, and ran off….

Tonight (Wednesday) we watched Pacific Heights that was on Channel 5. A gripping, intense and disturbing film about a young couple who rent a room in their beautiful, newly renovated home to a guy they think is rich and well-off but who actually slowly destroys them financially, emotionally and physically.

Three experiences, very close together all with the same message - beware of people who talk the good talk, but are not walking the walk. In other words, beware of shysters that want to rip you off and play power games.

Nothing is by chance, nothing is accidental, nothing is coincidence and we are not living in a random Universe. Everything that is happening is perfectly flowing with our own individual rhythms, and manifesting from our deepest conscious and unconscious desires.

We create it all, though we are are taught it is all happening TO us!!

A Shaman can read the messages in the experiences around them because they understand this basic Law of Nature. Whether we are living in the Urban Jungle, or the Amazon, it is still filled with messages, signs and warnings.

Our higher selves, the part of us that sees the Bigger Picture, beyond our limited 3-dimensional vision, is always preparing us for the next step whether we want to decipher the signs or not. It is up to us to become conscious enough to recognise what all our experiences mean. .

Many of us are walking through life without being aware of the amazing and magical interconnectedness of everything. So here I am, having been warned on three separate occasions, to watch out for someone who may promise me the world but end up taking everything!!

Forewarned is forearmed….
