Am a huge fan of bija mantras after doing the Sivananda Yoga Teacher training. The course book with lots of different mantras and their meanings was “Meditation And Mantras” by Swami Vishnu-Devananda. Make sure you get a 108 mala bead, makes all the difference…

In my study of mayan cosmology, the amazing thing is that no matter how advanced they became, they would always look to the Pleiades and the Milky way from the perspective of earth, not from space like we do. The biorhythms that we have on earth (and there are many) coincide directly with movement of the planets around the sun and earth. Whether or not they knew this is one thing - coincidence? I think not!

thanks for your reply - very interesting!! Especially as there was a lot of media attention around midwifery services in this country during those weeks.

The Mayans were able to understand the deeper energies of the planet and our direct connection to it.

When we are in tune with our real purpose and destiny we see the wonderful, poetic, magical synchronisities and how the Universe works in order for us to see our intentions realised that the Mayans were able to predict through its Calendars.

And yes! It is a great sign for the healing of the Earth :0)

I just wanted to add that in terms of Mayan Astrology, the Mayan “Week” of 13 days starts with 9 December (1-Eb). This day sets a general tone for world events for the whole trecena (set of 13 days). The Maya observed that healing rifts and settling differences between individuals and nations take place during “Eb”. It is a time for healing and understanding. The general tendency (until 22 Dec) is healing and nurturing to occur. Women or women’s issues are also prominent at this time.

22 December is the start of the next Trecena, Chicchan, ending 9 January. It favours merchants and warriors, because it inspires confrontations and daring discoveries. Revelations of secrecy also make the news at this time.

A good sign for the healing of the Earth?
