This Aries new moon – Saturday 18th April – can bring up lots of chaotic emotions, thoughts and feelings and the key is to find some silent, ‘me’ time and give yourself the space to respond and get clear and calm, rather than react to what is coming up with anger and aggression.
Have a pen and paper ready, and sit in a quiet room when you have completed all your tasks for the day and you are ready to give time to yourself. Turn off the lights, light a candle and create an ambient space. Sit in a comfortable position with your back straight. Close your eyes and become aware of your body. Connect deeply and slowly with your toes, legs, thighs, torso, arms, neck, face and then crown. Exhale all your stresses and release all your frustrations – just breathe them right out of your body. Repeat this process three times or until you are feeling relaxed and stress free.
Use relaxing music, pranayama meditation, or any other technique that works for you to help you go into a deepened state of consciousness. In this sacred space ask yourself: What do I need to do to practically manifest my dreams? and see what answers you receive. Let the answers bubble up from your unconscious. The key is not to force the messages but to allow your truth to emerge from the stillness of the heart rather than the rational logical chaos of the mind.
Next is to write down everything that needs to be done. Let it all come out, from cleaning the bath to filing, from finding investment, to writing that song/poem/book/etc. List the tasks in order of priority if you are unsure where or how to start. Things always look much clearer when they are out of our heads and down on paper.
If you have been in a turbulent situation try not to fan the flames over this Aries moon. Instead feed the situation love, light, and good energy, however difficult it may feel in the moment. By visualizing a positive outcome and concentrating on all the blessings, rather than the burdens, we can meet challenges from a place of maturity, and respond from a place of empowerment.
