You may well be feeling a bit dazed, exhausted and wiped out, as we are experiencing some heavy energies, fuelled by the planetary activity, and the extreme negative media news that we are being bombarded with.
Those who have been working with the planetary energy will be able to surf this coming Aries full moon eclipse more smoothly. Its going to get intense, as we will be facing the consequences of our actions that were made over the last couple of years, both personally and collectively.
Certainly, many of us have experienced some big shifts since the first eclipse in October 2013, and this eclipse will finally bring things to completion. It is an auspicious occasion, as an eclipse signifies the ending of cycle, yet, Aries signifies the beginning of one, so this is both an ending and a beginning.
Despite it being in a fiery sign, this eclipsed moon could well be emotional, as we face our deepest fears and our greatest dreams simultaneously, with the realisation that we are creating it all, not only on a personal level but at the macrocosm too.
During an eclipse the veil of illusion is lifted and we are able to see the reality of a situation. This can often be an uncomfortable process, especially in the area of relationships, as this moon may illuminate a totally different person, situation, or agreement, than the one you thought was reality.
However, Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of war and passion, so if you have been feeling disempowered by others and powerless to change external influences, this decisive moon can give you the courage and guidance to break the cycle and be free.
Despite the urge to forge forward its best to allow the energy to settle before jumping into any agreements, signing any documents, or get too excited about a proposal, because Mercury has just started its final retrograde of 2015.
From 17th September to 7th October Mercury, the planet of communication, goes retrograde (backwards). During this time electronic items can break down, travel arrangements go wrong, meetings are cancelled or delayed, and anything concerning communications and signing contracts can end in disarray, often outside of our control.
However, a Mercury retrograde also gives us the opportunity to stop and take a well needed pause to ensure that we are still on the right path. These are very important weeks to reflect, evaluate, revise and make sure you are in full alignment with your head and your heart.
Many of us are realising that with every choice we make, we are either sacrificing our hearts or sacrificing our egos. When we sacrifice our hearts, (the empathic part of ourselves), the pleasure of the ego is short-lived, and yet the pain of the heart becomes deep-rooted. When we sacrifice the ego, (the narcissistic part of ourselves), the pain is short-lived, but the pleasure lasts a lot longer.
There is a lack of empathy on the planet, because most of us are unconsciously choosing the short-term pleasure of the ego. Once we become aware and conscious that we have the choice, it becomes easier to choose the path of the heart.
With over seven billion of us on a planet with finite resources, the consequences of our extreme egoistic actions to serve ourselves, regardless of how this is affecting others, is having huge environmental, social and economic impacts on all of us on the planet.
Our narcissism has reached epic proportions that is affecting ALL life on earth and the intense Planetary activity we are experiencing is happening to wake us up and realise that we need to make a change, and serve the greater whole, in order to keep Earth’s ecosystem healthy for future generations.
I will end this Lunascope with the wise words from Lyndon B. Johnson:
“If future generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must also leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just as it looked when we got through with it.”
